"Journey of a thousand miles being with a single step" - a famous quote which is quite true when we try to start for any planned things. It may relate to your life and even when you have planned for a long journey.
My journey's in life have always been exciting as I always had a group of friends with me who had the same ambitions for roaming places around the globe. It might be too lucky!! Trust and relations within your friends circle make your journey a exciting one.
It was quite a hectic task to decide and plan for a long week journey for us to New York destination covering all the major areas in the East Coast of America during the July shutdown. Planning takes a master guys who are quite good in the geographical area and quick in booking tickets for the plan. Some decisions are little late but good at last. So, one night in the middle of 1:00 am we all decided to kick off for the long trip to the East Coast with only names of the best places to visit in our journey.
Yep, the things rolled out gracefully! We all had the pockets to be emptied for the trip! It may be around $1500 for the entire trip.
You may be thinking visiting East Coast might only cover New York right? Hmm no it covered all the good destinations we could cover across the East coast.
Washington DC - Capitol of United States of America
Luray Caverns - Place near Washington DC
Buffalo, West Virginia - Its not the real buffalo but its a good place though
Niagara Falls
New York City
Believe me its not only these places in the list above but many things I will cover in my journey!
If you are quite good in driving and have a state license of any states in United States so it the best trip for you to drive through long journeys. Road trips are usually exciting when you drive through the windings on a hilly area.
We had planned our journey from Washington DC airport, so it was from San Francisco where we kicked off our journey from. A long time journey usually challenges your mind how did you got a chance to travel time just two hours ahead of the actual time you left from. Connecting flights make it little relaxing as you get time to do some stuff roaming about new airports rather than just sitting in a single position throughout the long journey. Watching around people with all the fatigue faces for traveling, makes it more boring sometimes. Yeah you have some good times too when relatives depart their dear ones at the airport and have a mixed feeling of joy and happiness combined in a pool of tears.
Once you reach Washington DC you can plan for a rental car for 5 days which you can surely return at the New York airport. It might cost too high, if you are really planning to use the 5 days tenure else you can return early to get the benefits and less cost for the vehicle.
